The trails:
Around the back of the stable there is a vast network of trails for people to ride on. Please be cautious and always ride with a friend. Do not leave the marked path, the woods are not safe and you can get lost easily. All trails are color coded and have markers placed on trees along the way. Beware of the moose and deer that live in the woods. Although the deer will just run, the moose may attack. Make sure you know how to deal with those types of issues.
Blue trail: This trail takes you around the pond. You may take your horse swimming when you get to the beach, but watch out for snapping turtles!
Green trail: This trail is for beginner riders, or for rides who want to go out on a short ride. It loops around the property and back to where you started. Please start the trail heading eastward, as it gets narrow on your way back.
Red trail: This trail is for advanced riders only. It is full of hills, streams, rocks and narrow passes. If you ride the full length of the trail it will take you most of the day, so leave well before sunset.
Yellow trail: This trail is full of small streams, and is great for training young horses how to walk through water. There are also several logs, so be prepared to jump a little.
