Alli paced back and forth as the clock ticked. She hummed quietly to the tune of a song she didn't even know the name of. Hope had asked her to come into the barn so Alli could school some of the lesson horses and keep them fresh. The worst thing that could happen is for them to become sour due to too many beginners being on them.
Java was out in her field, resting. Alli was lucky to be in that height range where she could ride many different horses and ponies, and her long legs aided her in riding the babies.

When Hope came into the grooming stalls with Music, she saw Alli and waved. Hi there!!

Alli perked up as she heard Hope's voice. "Hi Hope! Got anybody for me to school?" She asked. Maybe she would get a little jumping in today, although dressage on the nice horses is always fun. She decided that she wouldn't jump Java for a day or two because of how hard she had worked yesterday. There was no reason to tire the mare out just before the show season.

Sure do! Hope lowered her head and thought a bit. Well, because we were short on staff yesterday, I didn't get a chance to ride anyone; I only worked with the little ones. So, you should be safe with anyone who's able to be ridden. Ella just rode Duke, and I've just finished with Music. So, any of the ponies or Warmbloods are fine. I think Lyris is working Rush. Not quite sure. But you can do whatever you'd like and Ella and I can try to get to some of the horses you don't get to. I also have a few lessons later today, but they're my hour longs and two are in a group I think.
Hope slid Music's halter over his bridle to she could clip him to the cross-ties and untack him.

"Alright, I think I'll hop on Bennie and Maggie, and maybe some others if I have time." She smiled and began to turn away, but then had another thought. "If you ever need help with the barn I will gladly help you. I used to clean stalls all the time at my old barn."

Sure. Hope smiled. I'll certainly need help at times, although the chores are completed for today. And those horses are good. They're usually good while being worked. But I'll remember your offer. Thanks. She smiled and turned around to finish Music.
