"Nice job!" Hope gave the gelding a clap on the neck at the wonderful job. "And you were great too!" She looked at Ella.

After more practice, and some special exercises, the pair would skillfully be ready for the show season.

"You two are going to do fantastic this year," Hope promised the equestrian and her equine.

Ella grinned, nodding. "It's mainly the beast, I think. He's got very clever feet," she said with a smile, giving the gelding a loose rein which he actually took for once.

"I think I'm gonna have a cool off with him then put him to bed for the evening."
