"By the kind of people they are, I'm assuming they'd pay for a vet check before they bought the pony. Because you can't show and win without a sound pony," she answered seriously. "You know, I can also work with just touching her. She's a bit shy of her legs and I'd be happy to work with her on it." She smiled. "I have extra free time this week because I don't have many lessons. I can work with her in my free time."
She turned to the pony, reaching for an ear, but Willow pinned them against her neck and flung her head away. Hope stroked her neck, generally making her way toward her ear, gently touching it from behind, and scratching it, making the mare lean into the scratching, bending her neck sideways, pressuring Hope hand around it.
She laughed and stopped and Willow moved her head back up, staring at Hope, wondering why she stopped, and stretched her neck, shaking from her head to her rump rapidly.
