Hope stood in front of the large barn-shaped building and waited for the sliding doors to slide open. She smiled from excitement. She loved this tack store.
"So. Where to start. Upstairs with the saddles and then second floor with other tack and equipment, or basement with clearance and first floor with clothes." She cocked her head and shrugged. "I don't care. I'll be on every floor sometime, so I don't care where we start. I'll need to pick up a saddle, a bunch of equipment, show clothes for me, and there's always stuff you can find in clearance."
Hope giggled a bit and smirked, ready to shop.

Ella was stuffing her keys back into her bag - having removed her wallet, well aware that she'd be unable to find it by the time they got to the till - as Hope started talking and grinned when there was the suggestion of the clearance section. The saddle pad - or pads, depending on if she could get some for clearance - she was intending to buy really didn't need to be presentable or show quality, and clearance would be just perfect if they had any that would fit. She still needed to clean the show pad she'd been using recently, having entirely forgotten to wash the saddle soap that had somehow gotten onto her normal numnah.
"Well, I need tack gear for a pad, but I'll probably get that from clearance, and I could do with a new show jacket. Plus a xc shirt - does ES have colours, or do I get to pick myself?" she asked Hope, smiling. She'd got an old shirt she'd used for events when she was at her previous stable, but it would be nice to get a fresh start. Even if ES didn't have specific colours, she'd probably buy a new one for herself and Duke, seeing as they'd not actually showed xc so far.
"A new pair of jodphurs would be good as well, actually," she said suddenly, realising that the state of her current pairs probably would not do for an actual show.

When Liz realized they where at the tack shop, a huge smile formed on her face as she looked at the building. There was a lot she needed, and she hoped she would find everything. Liz almost forgot about her mum, so she quickly called her. Relieved that she wasn't in trouble, she hung up her cell phone and waited for Garrett. I need a show jacket, a new helmet, saddle pad, and a saddle. I have enough money, I'm sure of that. Hoping that was all she needed, she began to look at everything on the racks. Inside the shop was big, and Liz knew their was a lot to look through.

Garrett sneezes as he entered the building. He blinked his eyes in surprise then shook his head. I'll just go look around. His voice came out soft and he wasn't sure if anyone heard him, but he traveled towards the headstalls. He felt the leather, smelled the freshness of it, and saw the shininess that it held. He closed his eyes as he remembered going to the tack store to buy his very first saddle and other tack needed for his first pony. He was only two, but it was a dream. He smiled before grabbing one to check the price. It would look good with the saddle over there. He double checked the price and then strode over to the saddle. Brand new english saddle and it matched perfectly with the black headstall he held in his hands.
He glanced over his shoulder. If the others saw him shopping, what would happen? No, he put the itmes back regrettfully as he trudged over to Liz. Done shopping? Or not yet? He asked rather rudely, but he didnt mean to. Er, sorry that sounded...er... really pushy and rude.

Liz had picked out a new velvet helmet, a nice new white saddlepad, and a wonderful jumping saddle. She was looking at the different jackets and had a rough time picking one out. A little hurt by his question, Liz lowerd her head, Not really. I have everything but my jacket. I kinda want your opinion on it. She layed everything nicely on the ground and showed Garrett the nice, blue jacket she had on. It fit her nicely, but the sleeves where a little long. Liz turned around, allowing Garrett to look at it fully. This was currently the only jacket she liked, and if Garrett didn't like it, she would look for another. Liz also caught him putting the saddle back. Why don't you get that saddle. If you can't afford it, I'll buy it for you. Liz could tell that Garrett had really liked it and that he did want to get it. I have enough.

Hope was off, Ella at tail, down to the basement. She jogged down the large set of stairs and stopped when she got to the bottom, pulling out her list.
"Alrighty." She moved her finger down the list. "Well. I think I'm going to start with the grooming supplies and stuff. I need a bunch of new brushes, liquids, and braiding supplies for the up coming show season.
She turned left and looked through the different bottles, collecting some and putting them in the basket she'd taken from the upper floor.
"And to answer your question a bit ago, ES's colors are hunter green and navy, but for the hunter ring, I like to keep it traditional, where as eventing, you can go with ES's or your own color choices. It doesn't matter. Although durning the large shows where we rent stalls, we take our ES gear, banners, tack boxes, etcetera, I prefer the students to represent the stable with our colors." She continued shopping through brushed and braiding bands.

This tack store was enormous, and the basement was proof to that. The clearance section had almost everything under the sun - with the slight proviso that the stuff was generally a little more random an assortment than the store proper. As Hope hunted through the grooming supplies, Ella took a glance over the tack. There were a fair number of pads the right size for Duke, though there weren't any in red - Ella's preferred colour for the pair. That didn't really matter, and seeing as Hope had just mentioned the stable colours she grabbed one hunter green and one navy pad.
"I think I'm ok for grooming kit. These are pretty well priced and I can't see anything wrong with them. I know they're not exactly show quality, but hey. Stable colours and all," she added with a grin, dumping the pads in her own basket.
"Does ES have a specific show uniform then? I was going to get cross country silks in ES colours, but if there's a specific uniform I might just get a red and white set for me and Duke. They don't look to have any in the colours I wanted down here though," she said, frowning a little. It'd be nice to find all the stuff she needed in clearance, though it'd be massively unlikely.

Begging, she hated it, but it worked when she needed something. Mostly because her parents want her out of the way. It worked and that’s really all she cared about. Flipping the card around in her hand Seb smiled before tucking it safely away in her pocket. Listening to all the lists people were making she stared around the store. Large, yet fitting and comfortable. The smell of leather hung in the air around the saddles and other leather products. Scents from the health section wafted over and it ruined her leathery smell.
Seb didn’t bother to list all of the stuff she needed. With her new card which had a large max she could get anything until they took it away from her again. ”I’m just gonna go to the saddle section and browse.” Without another word she walked over to the saddles and immediately started to inspect the English saddles. Seb picks her saddles with high standards. She needs something special for Twilight and wouldn’t take less if she could get the best.
Searching through the racks and shelves Seb went through the entire section before making her choice. Pulling out a notepad she wrote down her product number and went straight for the bridles. She needed a training hackamore and a show hackamore. She didn’t believe in bits. They didn’t work for her. Twilight was used to not having a bit, and if Seb wanted her training to progress she never would.

Once Garrett agreed that he liked it, Liz picked up the saddle he wanted and the rest of her things. She went over to the counter to pay, and the total was $435. It was a lot, but her dad wouldn't care, neither would her mum. In fact, her dad gave her the money, and she was to use it on whatever she wanted. Almost everthing was put into a special box, excpet the saddle which Liz carried. Now all she had to do was wait until the others where done, and she would be patient. After laying her things by the counter, Liz walked around, looking to see if there was anything else she needed to get. So far, she had found nothing.
