Seb stepped out of the car and into the parking lot of the restaurant. Staring up at the large sign on the building she smiled. Seafood, her favorites of all dishes. ”Good to be back. Last time I was here it wasn’t so pretty. Huge fight between my parents. Needless to say I ended up leaving and sitting in the car for half an hour.” As the memory came back to her she smiled even more. She remembered the look on her face when her mother started screaming in the middle of the restaurant. Closing the door of the car she looked over at Colt. Walking towards the building she opened the door, keeping it open for Colt to pass through. Stepping up to the desk she smiled at the lady behind it. ”Our usual table for Graz family.” It took a moment for the woman to find the paperwork. Her expression told of the old actions in Seb’s family. But they still gave them the same table since they were regulars. ”You’re parents aren’t coming are they?” The lady was apprehensive as she spoke. ”No, just my friend and me today.” The relief on her face was not even trying to hide itself from her view. Walking behind the lady to the table next to the window, empty as usual, Seb slid into the seat.

Must've been a pretty big fight... Colt thought. He happily followed Seb and set across from her, not bothering to look at the menu. Okay, before we decide on what to eat.. what Gender were you thinking? Colt was kind of excited, and was hungry, but didn't want to order quite yet. Seafood was his 2nd favorite food, his top was probablly his moms cookies. He picked up the menu, and waited for her response to his question.

Seb didn’t need to look at the menu; she’s memorized it so easily and by heart. ”Gelding or mare. Preferably a gelding. Twilight hates other mares, for reasons unknown. I think her mother was a kicker. Not the point. We can get another stallion but Hope may not agree. Plus, I’m not 18.” She looked over at the waitress as she waited patiently. ”We’ll order in a few minutes Jess. I’ll be sure to call you when we’re ready.” Watching as the lady walked away Seb pushed her menu to the one side. ”Since I already know what I’ll be getting, and since I’m paying for it, pick whatever you want. Price doesn’t matter; it’s my temporary card until my dad gets over the fact that I can manage money better than an accountant.” Rolling her eyes she rearranged the table absent-mindedly. Setting the sea salt directly across from the pepper, with the sauces and other seasonings between. You could tell she liked everything to be perfect.
OOC//: In case you don't know, which you probably do but to not cause confusion, a kicker mare is a mare that won't allow her foal to suckle and get to the milk. Usually this happens when the mare is malnourished and not willing to give up nutrients her on body needs to a foal

I don't think we'll want a stallion. Especially if were planning to get a younger one. So I was thinking gelding. Colt took the menu and looked down it. Ahhh.. I think Ill just get some clam chowder. He looked up and smiled at her. Like I was saying... A younger horse might be good, because it gives us more time to train him. Colt continued. He turned his head, waiting for a response from Seb.

Seb smiled up at Colt. Pushing the menu to the center of the table she centered as best as she could, getting overly picky while she tapped the sides to get them straight. ”I agree. A younger horse would be best. Maybe around … two? At the least. Unless you want a yearling so we can imprint at a younger age. But then if we get a colt one of us would have to pay for gelding fees.” Grimacing on the subject she quickly changed it. ”I think we’d do well to get a gelding, two years of age. But what breed? Since we already know it’s going to be an English horse we have loads of Warmblood and Light bodied horses to choose from. I was thinking a warmblood. Better agility, stamina, conformation, etcetera. Plus, a warmblood is the ideal choice for jumping, cross country, and dressage. Unless you want an Arabian for dressage.” Seb twisted up her face at the thought of the severely dished noses of the elegant Arabian. Those poor horses.
When Jess came back Seb gave her order: Lobster and Seafood Mixed Grill with a large Mountain Dew. Once Colt had given his entire order Jess left to hand it in. ”The oldest I’ll go is four years. So any other ideas you wanted to talk about?”

Gelding, preferably 3 years old. Agreed. I lighter horse, maybe some sort of Thoroughbred or Sport Horse. Colt nodded his head. He loved warmbloods. I think a chestnut horse would be sweet, but I don't think it matters. I just like regular horses. Or... A grey. Yes. We should get a grey. Colt shook his head and brushed his hair aside, He. Talked. Way Too much.

Seb smiled as he continued to babble. ”Well, definitely a gelding. But a chestnut?” Her face scrunched up again. She preferred grays and blacks, and of course the buckskin. Exotic colors were her favorites though. Looking at the other customers she sighed, twirling the salt shaker in her hand. ”We can always choose a color when we get there. But I won’t budge past a sport horse breed.” Seb placed the salt shaker back by the wall as the food came out. She carefully separated each piece of her meal, not liking how they were touching each other. Skillfully, and with as little mess as possible, she tore open the crab legs and the lobster tail.
Seb ate slowly, savoring the shellfish with every bite. She always kept her napkin close by in case. Taking sips from her Mt. Dew every now and then. ”So Colt, what are your thoughts?” Seb stared over at him with those emerald eyes, her hair softly framing her face. The blond highlights catching the light just right to illuminate her face. But the tender innocence in her green eyes would have melted anybody who looked too closely.

I think. I think... Colt paused. This is going to be awesome. He picked up the silver spoon and sipped some chowder. He thought back to tenth grade, when he first started liking horses. Remembering the books he read, he thought of the sport breeds in books. Warmbloods, Thoroughbreds, Irish Sport horses, Holsteins. He stopped his train of thought. A Holstein mabye? They can get pretty big, but I've heard they're really nice horses. Colt scratched his nose and tilted his head, taking another sip of chowder.

Seb thought about his words, tumbling them over in her head. Munching on her crab she stared at the room as she thought. ”I don’t know Colt. They can get pretty hefty but if it’s what you want I don’t mind.” Seb looked at her plate. All of a sudden she wasn’t hungry. But she continued to simply munch anyway. She was paying for it, so it really didn’t matter. ”I’m sick of talking about horses all day.” She scrunched up her nose. Seb wasn’t mad; she simply was just making a statement. Yes a statement, not a suggestion to change the subject although that would have been nice.
Blinking she looked at her plate, as if it had just bitten her. Looking away from it she let her hands fall into her lap. Looking up at Colt she gave a smile, but didn’t say anything. Jess came back with the check, but Seb didn’t touch it just yet. Instead she looked away from it and back at Colt.

Colt frowned at her. She looks.. upset.. he thought. Change of subject actually wouldn't be too bad. He paused and put his head in his hand. Want to go back to my place? To hang out, or something? Colt smiled at her, wholly hoping she would.

At this new suggestion of plans her face brightened. It would actually save her from having to go home, which would be a total disaster area if she. ”I’d love to!” Her smile brightened he features as she pulled out a shiny golden card. That golden card was the bile of her blood but she loved having it for things like this. Seb hated carrying cash; you never know what might happen to it. But then again, carrying a gold card would be worse, wouldn’t it? Either way, she hated cash.
When Jess came back over to grab the check and card Seb turned back to Colt. ”Should I drop you off at the stables to pick up your car? I don’t know if you want to leave it up there or not.” Seb waited for her card to come back as she spoke, but she looked at Colt.

Yeah, that would be great. Colt replied, smiling. When Jess brought the card back, he handed it to Seb, and went to the door. Slowly, Colt grabbed the door handle, and opened it, waiting for Seb to go through.

Seb smiled as she too the card from Colt gently. She followed him to the door, giving a slight laugh when he held the door open for her. No protest though. Walking through the second set of doors she walked out to the car. Turning around she handed him the keys with a knowing smile. Once he had taken them she walked to her side of the vehicle, running her hand over the glossy finish of the car.
