"Shitaki mushrooms!" cried a voice as its owner put his weight on the leg that he had swung around to touch the ground. Inhalling the boy pulled the weight onto his other leg and pulled himself to his feet. Using the wall for support he kept his other leg suspended in the air and hoped around to his dresser. Pulling out a pair of green skinny jean, blue got so boring after a while. With only a quick yelp he managed to get into them before the petite figure went back to his one leggedness. Pulling a black tee on he pulled on his purple checkered vans. He wanted to wear his converse, but didn't feel like dealing with the laces at the moment.
Hobbling over to the minifridge he pulled out a yellow juicebox. Sticking in the red and white straw he sucked out the brown liquid very quickly before throwing the empty yoohoo box into the trash. Or trying to at any rate. his missed it by a good six inches.
Like always he fixed his hair before limping out the door. He really needed to do something about his leg. It had hurt the day before, but he figured he'd just sleep it off. But if anything it had only gotten worse during the night spent on his purple blanketed pillowtop mattress.
Luckily the day before he had managed to get a god parking spot and he didn't need to limp far to get to his car. Pulling the door to the green buggy he was glad to get the weight off his legs. Soon he teenager made it to his destination. The hospital. He figured he was better off getting it x-rayed. Not like he had any plans for the day. Maybe he'd even get a cute nurse.
Getting out of his car he limped into the building. Flirty smile planted on his face he checked in at the desk before sitting down in the waiting room. Pulling his DS out of his pocket he flipped it open. Why yes, the seventeen yearold did still play pokemon thatnk you very much.

Her pale hand spun the door knob and pushed it open, taking a step forward with her bad hip. Well, it wasn't normally a bad hip, but it was quite sore at this point as she'd just taken quite a large spill of of her dappled grey Icelandic horse, Kuldi only an hour or so ago.
She didn't normally fall and he wasn't normally spooky, but riding in the woods, the gelding spooked at the giant turkey that flew up into a tree. And he usually didn't mind the birds, even when giant ones flew in his face, but the fact that it was so unexpected; the horse shied and bolted, and the teenager sat that fairly easily, but when a log was over the trail, that was when the actual fall occurred. Unable to stop the horse, Dalla assumed they were going to jump the log even though it was quite large; fair enough; she'd jumped logs before, but at the last moment Kuldi decided he'd rather not, ducked, and Dalla flew over the equine's shoulder into the log head first, cracking her helmet and smashing her hip into the ground.
And so she strode into the office, limping slightly, only because of her sore hip, and checked in at the desk quickly, murmuring to the lady about her scheduled appointment. A quick thank you was given as her appointment was found and she was told to sit down.
She journeyed over to one of the chairs and lowered herself gently, not minding the fact that she was still in her black riding pants and tall black boots, along with her lavender polo shirt and her black helmet; now sporting a giant crack, being carried along with her.
Her eyelids fluttered as she glanced down to her lap, wiping a bit more of the dirt off. There really wasn't a huge amount left, more of just a soft dusting of it, but her chin rose as she lifted her head, pretending it didn't bother her. The fall replayed in her mind and she was just really happy that she was healthy enough to be able to remount Kuldi and walk back to the barn. Because if something even worse had happened, she wasn't sure what she would have done.
It was at that moment she actually realized there was someone else in the waiting room across from her. And her lips curled into a smile, brushing her hair behind her shoulder only to glance down again and have it fall forward again. "Hae," she greeted, "What're you playing?" she asked.

"Pokemon." the teenager replied not looking up to see who was talking. He could not beat this little asswipe as hard as he tried. Alright. So it was kind of lame. And a bit of a loser. A girl tries to start a conversation with him and he keeps playing pokemon. How many guys would do that? A bunch bellow the age of eight.
He sat there for a while his fingers moving rapidly. "Take that you little piece of shit." the teenager yelled in excitement. Alright. So he had no internal censor. What else was new? The mm sitting with her child off in the corner put her hands over his kids ears. A little late for that, but ah well. But none of that mattered because he finally won. Well, for a little bit. Then of course he'd get focused on something else which would last a while and by the time that was done hopefully the doctor would be ready to see him.
He noticed the girl who he assumed was the one that had spoken to before. "Sorry bout that, I've been trying to beat that for ages." he said like this was totally normal for a seventeen year old. But come on, pokemon was a classic. Your never to old for a classic.
"Names Zex, and before you ask, yes I am the sex."

She smiled when he said Pokemon. "I bought a DS for my younger brother and actually had it shipped to him along with a little Pokemon cartage game." She nodded in approval when he didn't glance up.
She was taken aback a bit when he swore out loud. Not because of the swear; she'd heard them plenty of times, but it was more of the public place they were in. And not even a public place that was the problem, but the fact that it was in a hospital with small children at that.
'S alright, she smiled, not noticing that her accent was different from everyone else's. She didn't notice much difference at all anymore, and thus felt comfortable around just around anyone. "I understand. Well, sort of... she replied, maybe not understanding as great as she thought she did. She wasn't sure how fun video games were, but she'd never actually played one to find out. And also; it wasn't common to see teenagers playing them. Well, older teenagers. He looked about as old as she was; 17 years old, or possible even 18.
"Hallo there, Zex." she greeted, giggling, "I'm Dalla. Why're you here?" Her perpetual smile lit up her face and she brushed a lock of gold behind her shoulder again.

"Told some guy that his dad really sucked in bed." he causually replied as if this explained everything. As well as being a normal thing to do. No he did not actually sleep with the guys dad. Getting back at the bully that enjoyed picking on him was not worth that much to the teen. He wasn't that full of rage. Besides, his dad was old. And ugly. Why anyone would of married him made no sense to Dexter. But that was quite besides the point. He had thought about it for a moment, but decided it would be way too much trouble. After all, he would have had to get him completely drunk. Or maybe slip something i his drink. but it did not sound like a paticularly fun night.
Anyway, clearly it had gotten to him anyway. Probably because common knowledge that Dexter liked boys. And maybe he was afraid for a second that he did. Or maybe he just wanted an excuse to kick his ass. Didn't really matter much. But he didn't regret saying it, even if his leg was searing in pain as a result. It was worth it.
"Fall off a horse?"

She laughed out loud at the reply he gave her. And because they were talking to each other across the room, she found it would have maybe helped the other people in the room a bit if she moved and sat closer to him; maybe even next to him. And she did just that. Maybe that would make him talk a bit quieter. The poor mother ad her daughter across the room. It was quite funny, she found, just not that funny.
"Yeah," she replied, running a hand through her curls, still clutching her helmet in the other hand. "I did. My horse spooked and I ended up falling." She didn't provide much detail, assuming the boy had better things to talk about than horses. American boys didn't seem to be overly interested in horses. And thus she quieted, making an attempt at thinking of another subject.
Though that wasn't easy for the female. She adored her horse and her life revolved around the short, fat, fuzzy beast. Her whole life and everything in it. Horses, horses, horses. And Iceland. Oh how she missed the country sometimes. It was wonderful to travel home and see friends and family, but because Kuldi couldn't come with her, it was hard being at home for that long.
