Rules:
-Proof of negative Coggins Test
-No refunds unless due to injury or illness of horse or rider
-Pre entry fees are $10.00 per class, $12.00 per class on the day of the show
-Martingales and tie-downs are not permitted in flat classes, but are permitted for over fences classes
-Horses that kick must wear a red ribbon in its tail
-Switching classes or numbers is not allowed
-All dogs on grounds must be leashed. Dogs may be excused from the grounds if the are causing a disruption.
-The judge and show committee have the right to cancel or combine classes that have three entries or less.
-The judges’ decision is final on all class results. No person
may approach the judge without permission of the show
steward.
-In the case of a tie, the Judge reserves the right to decide how
the tie will be broken.
-The Judge and Show Committee reserve the right to dismiss
any horse or rider that is unruly, from ES show grounds.
-A trophy, medal, or cash prize - and a ribbon, will be awarded
in each class. A Championship ribbon and a Reserve Champion
ribbon will be awarded in each Division.
-NO SMOKING anywhere on ES grounds.
-The ES show committee appreciates your efforts to keep the
grounds clean and free of trash. There are scattered trash bins around the yard.

Eligibility Requirements
No rider may cross enter W/T – W/T/C classes
Walk/Trot ages: Adult: 18+ Senior. 13-17 yrs. Youth: 12 and under
Walk/Trot riders must not enter any canter classes.
Open Beginner Walk/Trot: ages 12 or under. Riders who have never shown, or
shown previously only in leadline division. May not enter any other division.
Junior classes are open to all seats and are required to canter. Riders must 18
years or under. Proof of age may be requested.
Leadline classes: Open to ages 10 or under. Handlers must be 14 years or older.
Short/ Long Stirrup riders may only compete in over-fences classes not
exceeding 18", and may not compete in W/T classes or Elem. Hunter division.
Short Stirrup: ages 12 or under - Long Stirrup: ages 13 or over.
Novice Hunter Division riders are required to walk, trot and canter. Open to novice
horses and/or riders in their first year of showing over fences exceeding 18".
Pony Division riders are required to walk and trot only, they are not required to canter.
Ponies must be 14.2 hands or under. There is no age limit.
Elementary Hunter Division consists of W/T crossrail classes. Riders in this division
may only enter W/T classes. No age limit.

Horse and rider are judged as a team for the High Point Championship.
HEC Equitation Stake W/T/C class is open to all ages. Riders will be required to

HEC Walk/Trot Equitation Stake classes are open to riders competing only in W/T
Divisions. Winner receives $25.00 prize and a ribbon.
Green Horse/Rider: Horses and/or riders in first year of canter class. No trainers.
HEC Mini Medal class is open to all riders, regardless of age. Contestants are required
to compete over corse of aproximately 8 fences, not to exceed 2’6”. One or more tests
may be required. (Judge’s discretion) Three competetors are necessary for riders to
qualify. Finals to be held at last show of season. Entrants must accumulate 7 points to
qualify. No trainers. Fee: $15.00
Separate numbers must be issued for each horse/rider combination.
1. Points will be accumulated based on each horse/rider team for Division
Championships, plus each class, for High Point.
2. Each horse/rider team constitutes a separate entry-thus a separate entry must
be completed for each horse/rider combination.
High Point Rider/Horse Combo will be awarded
A prize of $500.00
Coach of High Point Rider/Coach Combo will be awarded
a prize of $100.00
(Coach must register and attend each show)
Mini Medal Grand Prize awarded at last show
Each Division Champ will be awarded a gift. Reserve through 4th will
receive ribbons – to be awarded at HEC Awards Banquet.
