Name: Damien Robinson
Age: 16
Gender: male
Riding Discipline: At the moment, none
Riding Skill: Beginner
Looks: Damien, or Day as he's sometimes known to friends, is a small, thin boy. He's a good few inches short of average for his age, and the majority of his friends tower over him and probably weigh a good couple of stone more than him as well. He has a just above shoulder length mop of dirty brown hair, which his sister keeps insisting he should have highlighted but he always refuses, disliking extra personal grooming enough as it is. He's not dirty, but he eschews the hairdresser as often as he can, and absoloutely does not understand the trend for boys wearing makeup. Or girls, for that matter. He has a pair of thick rimmed rectangular glasses, which he has to wear as he's very short sighted, which sit on a large-ish nose and in front of hazel eyes.
Personality: Damien is a geek. That's just a fact. He studies hard, does well at school, and has a small group of friends that he doesn't really speak to people outside of. When meeting strangers, he can be quite shy and socially awkward, as he's not brilliant at reading other people, but once he's met someone for the fifth or sixth time he tends to relax a bit more around them and let out his rather sharp, intelligent sense of humour.
Unfortunately for Damien, he's not good with girls. That's why he wants to learn to ride - he met a girl who likes horses and had absoloutely nothing to talk to her about, so he decided that horses would probably be a good starting point. She doesn't like him, and somewhere he knows that, but it's starting to dawn on him that, before too long, he's going to have to leave his small group of friends and meet other people, and he's using that as another reason to learn to ride. He's not emotionally stupid, he just decieves himself so that the best option looks like it'll actually happen, even if he knows that it won't.
