Stable Rules:
The following list of rules is to be read and followed. Any boarder who fails to comply with any of the rules on this list will be subject to immediate termination of privileges at the sole discretion of the management.
No dogs without prior permission. Please speak with the manager, Hope Levin, before bringing dogs on the property.
No stallions handled by anyone under 18 years old without permission. Some stallions can be very dangerous and we would not want anyone getting hurt. Again, please ask the stable manager, Hope Levin, before handling any stallions if you are not over the correct age.
Absolutely no smoking! I want to make this clear to everyone. No smoking at all anywhere on the property. If you are caught smoking, you will be asked to take all animals and or guests home.
No running or yelling around horses. Horses can get spooked easily. Please stay safe.
Parents are responsible for all minor children. Unattended children not allowed. Please keep you children with you at all times.
Any equipment used is to be put away when finished. This is self explanatory. Please put things back where you found them.
All gates shall be kept shut at all times, except while passing through. I would prefer not to be running around the yard catching loose horses. Please be sure gates are latched correctly with all latches done. If a gate has two latches, please latch both. Horses are smart and can unto certain latches, which is why there may be more than one.
Boarders are responsible for their guest(s). All guests are expected to follow all of the stable rules.
All horses on the grounds must have Coggins and rabies papers, shown to the barn manager.
All grooming equipment shall be put away after use and not left laying around. Please label all grooming supplies that belong to you so, if lost, can be returned.
Please view the white board and calendar to see farrier, vet, and clinic dates. Please sign-up on the chalk board when you would like your horse’s feet done and what you would like (ex: Pepper: Trim/Shoes Reset). And please sign-up for vet dates or clinics if you will be attending so we can keep track of how many guests will be attending.
Absolutely no littering on the grounds. Please use the trash barrels we have set up for you around the yard and stable area.
Crosstie area shall be kept clean. Be considerate, if your horse make a mess, clean it up.
Horse trailer parking is available.[/b] We have a parking lot just for trailers behind the stable. You may drop off your horse and unload out front, but if you are leaving your trailer, please park out back .ES is not responsible for any missing/stolen property.
Regular deworming is required. You may choose to have your horses done at the same time as the other horses on the groundsm or you may do it yourself. Please leave this information with the barn manager.
There shall be a Sign In/Out & Travel Plan form posted. When you leave the grounds to go riding, this must have been filled out. If your horse comes back without you, or you don't come back before dark, we want to know when/where to go look for you! (This is a nuisance but it is for your safety!)
We recommend that all riders wear protective headgear. All riders under 18 must wear a helmet, however, riding apparel & equipment repair for 18 or older riders are the responsibility of the themselves.
ES is a breeding operation, and, as such, has a number of stallions on the premises. While every effort will be made to keep the stallions confined, ES does not guarantee the virtue of any mare on the property. In the event of an unplanned pregnancy, ES will be happy to sign all necessary registration papers, and there will be no charge for the stud service.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.
These rules will be updated and posted as necessary.
???Any questions? Just post them below and they will be answered as best as possible.
Again, I know it was a lot, but thank you for reading.
